Actress Demi Moore was born Demetria Gene Guynes in Roswell, New Mexico. His biological father is Charles Harmon, however he left her mother Virginia King, before Moore was even born. Guynes, which is on her birth certificate, is the surname of his stepfather. Demi’s childhood is quite difficult. For one, she experienced an unstable home life; her stepfather Danny Guynes, changed jobs again and again that they had to move for more than 30 times. Throughout her childhood she had a bitter and unhappy life; living with alcoholic parents who often argued and fought each other. Demi had struggled as a cross-eyed when she was a child and used wore an eye patch in an attempt to correct it until the problem was corrected by two eye surgeries.

Moore's family moved and settled in Los Angeles in 1976, after the death of his stepfather. She attended Fairfax High School in Hollywood but eventually dropped out of high school to work as a pin-up-girl/model. At the age of 18, Demi got married with the rock musician Freddy Moore, but the marriage lasted only four years and she retained the surname. Following her marriage, she posed nude in Oui Magazine and landed a role in the 1981 film "Choices." After two years later, she once again posed nude for Oui, which granted her break in the movie "Blame it on Rio."
After those minor parts, she got casted and became a regular on the TV show "General Hospital" (1963). However, along with the success and sudden fame, she began abusing drugs for more than 3 years. But director Joel Schumacher threatened to fire her from the set of "St. Elmo's Fire” and being afraid of losing everything she had, she agreed to go to rehab and started clean.

In 1987, Moore met and married actor Bruce Willis. Subsequent to their marriage of three years, Demi's claim to fame came with the release of the movie "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze. The movie was her breakthrough to great success and as a result she got movie offers for 3 films. Moore and Willis divorced in 2000 but remain friends to this day. At that time, almost everyone initially believed that their relationship was nothing more than a publicity stunt since Ashton is 16 years Demi’s junior, but they just laughed it off. After two years of dating, Demi and Kutcher blissfully tied the knot on September 24, 2005 in los Angeles California. And now they have been together for a solid seven years.
